This was a great investment and I have six from the Treasury set. I always read to my grandbabies before nap and before bed when they sleepover. I can read any Franklin story and both my 5 year-old granddaughter and her 2 1/2 year-old brother enjoy the stories. The pictures are colorful and hopefully someday soon, she can read to me!
As with all Franklin stories, I think the artwork is very lively and colorful without being overstimulating. A great buy for a hardcover book. Four stories in one book. My kids love listing to Franklin stories because of the illustrations and the 3 to 5 sentences per page keep the younger childrens interest.
book seems well made and the kids take turns picking out what story they want. The pictures are nice and it's great to have one bigger book with a theme.

Franklin the Turtle is a lovable character in children's literature and all the more appealing for young readers as he embodies all that a young child is - he can be temperamental, sweet and most stories deliver a moral lesson for Franklin and his friends. In this collection, there are four stories - Franklin is Lost, Franklin Wants a Pet, Franklin's Blanket, and Franklin and the Tooth Fairy. The stories are heartwarming and the gorgeous full-color illustrations are sure to delight young children. I highly recommend these stories for younger readers, especially preschoolers and up. The stories are also great for reading aloud.
My son's favorite turtle!
My daughter was introduced to the Franklin books by her Kindergarten teacher this year and immediately fell in love with them. She can't get enought of them. I really like it when books come out into a collection like this. You have many books all in one. There are the benefits of not having to keep up with so many books and it takes up less space. I know that my daughter will get alot of use out of this book.
