Nifty little calendar. I am not a fan of the "humor" associated with the comic character, and would not have purchased this if there were jokes on the monthly calendar pages. I love the soft colors of the different months. I use this as a desk calendar and it sure beats the plain white ones I have used in the past. This is checkbook size, so you could easily tote it with you where ever you would like.I am not sure about that other feedback saying the pages are rotated incorrectly; every one of these type of calendars I have owned was landscape. Plenty of room to jot notes on all seven days of the week.I guess if you have low vision, some of the colors may be a problem if you were to write on them in pencil. But for my uses, this is much more attractive that a bland refill and practical, too.
Great calendar for jotting down appts, meetings, schedules etc. I like the overall size of this calendar but the day squares are a bit small, still able to get my abbreviated message written down. There are separate pages to enter phone numbers and several pages available for notes. And who doesn't like the wisdom of Maxine!!! I just wish they maker would have included some of her wisdom on the monthly pages....
They changed the format from portrait to landscape and the page background is not white. I do not like the changes and will not purchase again.
It does it's job! A 2 year calendar where I can see one month at a time is exactly what I was looking for. The amusing cover is just a bonus. ;-)
I love Maxine even tho she is written by a man. He seems to have the sense it takes to make everyday occurances funny and bring a smile to my face. Laughter makes life so much easier, and Maxine does it for me.
Perfect for the small purses and a quick place to write down appointments.
There are perhaps two more funny lines, but the book serves my purpose now that I enjoy being home more than anywhere else; i.e. appointmnets are few!
I love Maxine and was looking forward to seeing her on every page. Instead she only appeared on the cover! Disappointing!
